A Step Towards Brighter Futures for Children in Need

At Rainbow Bright Childcare Dundee, we believe in not only nurturing young minds within our nursery but also giving back to the wider community. That’s why we were incredibly proud to take part in a meaningful initiative this month – a sponsored 3km walk in support of Cash for Kids, a UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people.

Thanks to the collective efforts of our amazing staff, children, and families, we successfully raised £129 to support this incredible cause! 🎉

Walking with Purpose

On a sunny afternoon, our Rainbow Bright family came together – step by step – for a fun, energetic walk filled with smiles, encouragement, and community spirit. From toddlers to parents, and our dedicated staff, everyone played their part in making this day special.

This wasn’t just a walk; it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together. The enthusiasm and support from families truly warmed our hearts and reflected the caring values we uphold every day at our setting.

Supporting Cash for Kids

The money raised will go directly to Cash for Kids West Scotland and Cash for Kids Tayside & Fife, who work year-round to support disadvantaged children across the UK. Their mission is simple but vital: to ensure that every child – regardless of their background – has the opportunity to thrive.

Cash for Kids provides essential funding for children living in poverty, facing illness, or dealing with additional needs. From supporting basic daily needs to providing Christmas gifts and emergency relief, they make a real difference to families who need it most.

We are honoured to be part of that mission, even in a small way.
